Coach Derek Mason and the Blue Raiders' schedule has changed since when it was released in March, thanks to Louisiana Tech leaving the conference. Jacksonville State replaced Tech on the MTSU schedule, and other games were moved around.

The conference announced seven Blue Raiders games on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, or ESPN+) and four on CBS Sports Network. The time for MTSU's non-conference game at Kansas will be announced later.

The Blue Raiders will open the 2026 season at home against Murray State on Sept. 5 (6 p.m. CT, ESPN+) before traveling to Marshall the following week for a 6 p.m. start.

MTSU will return home on Sept. 19 to face Nevada (6 p.m., ESPN+) before opening CUSA play on the road Sept. 26 against Jacksonville State (6 p.m., ESPN+).

The Blue Raiders play at Kansas on Oct. 3 before delving back into league play for the remainder of the regular season.

Included will be three midweek games against Delaware, at FIU and against Kennesaw State.

MTSU went 3-9 for the second consecutive season in Mason's second year with the program, winning its final two games after a 1-9 start.
