It feels like forever since the Baltimore Ravens have had Nnamdi Madubuike on the field, taking quarterbacks' souls for fun.

And in truth, it has been a while, with the two-time Pro Bowler playing just two games last season due to a neck injury.
There are reportedly concerns that the star defensive tackle might not play football again, which isn't great.
And Ravens head coach Jesse Minter addressed the situation with Madubuike at the annual owners meeting.
"I know that he's in a great place mentally," Minter said via ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "He's doing a lot of stuff. That's still a kind of a 'To be determined' thing, I would say. And so, as an organization, you certainly have plan A, plan B, plan C, plan D all the way down the line. We'll be excited, whichever way that goes."

Madubuike to play in 2026?
That would be the hope from the franchise and fans, but we are all about player health and safety, and it isn't known if the stud defensive tackle will return.
Minter stated, "I'll leave that up to him," when asked about No. 92 playing in 2026, so it still seems like a long way away from being discussed.
But the Ravens have backup plans, as they did last season when Madubuike played just two games.
Yes, Baltimore would love to have No. 92 back on the field as the dominant force he once was, but health after football is far more important.
