The Los Angeles Lakers already have an immense amount of attention on them at all times.
What if they signed LiAngelo Ball? Yes, the brother of LaMelo and Lonzo.
That's something that fans are wondering about, but not for a legitimate reason.

Did the Lakers sign LiAngelo Ball?
No, the Lakers have not actually signed LiAngelo.
The reason people are wondering about it is this post on X:
BREAKING: LiAngelo Ball has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. Ball now has the opportunity to play in the NBA again. pic.twitter.com/eqVUeLdLfM

That account starts its description with the words "satire account," so if it wasn't already obvious this is fake -- it's fake.
LiAngelo isn't an NBA-level player, unlike his brothers, and so this would make no sense as a roster move.
This Ball brother actually announced his retirement from basketball last summer.
LiAngelo Ball's main pursuit now, as best we can tell, is his rap career.
His stage name is GELO, and he has a lot of fans in the music world.
LiAngelo never got a minute of NBA action.
The closest he came was the G League, where he played a couple of seasons for the Greensboro Swarm.
He won't be playing for the Lakers anytime soon.
