For sports fans in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex who remember, World Class Championship Wrestling was filled with week-in, week-out battles mostly featuring members of the Von Erich family. On Friday night at Globe Life Field, it might have felt like a grappling match at times between the San Diego Padres and Texas Rangers.
No, the teams didn't settle their differences in the squared circle. They did so on the baseball diamond, trading runs left and right in the first inning. It wasn't decided until later in Friday night's game, where the Rangers were victorious 9-7.

He also gave up two home runs to Padres hitters.
