The Indiana Fever superstar led the voting in 2025 and already received more than 500,00 votes after the first returns. It’s a different story this year as Clark is fifth with 253,602, trailing A’ja Wilson by almost 55,000 votes.

Paige Bueckers, Clark’s teammate, Aliyah Boston, and Breanna Stewart occupy the spots between No. 1 and No. 5.
Clark is averaging 20.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 2.5 three-pointers per game. However, Indiana struggled through its first 10 games, splitting the results. The 6-foot guard is also dealing with poor field goal shooting. She is knocking down just 40.2% of her shots, including 32.4% from beyond the arc, which may have contributed to the lack of votes.

Clark and the Fever have started to turn things around. They are on a four-game winning streak, including Tuesday’s dominant 113-91 victory over the Toronto Tempo.
The team will play four of its next five games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The favorable schedule gives Clark and her teammates the opportunity to pile more wins. They will then embark on a four-game road trip, including two matchups versus Wilson and the Aces. Indiana entered the season as one of the title favorites with a healthy Clark and Sophie Cunningham, along with a bolstered roster.
