Tommy Fury boxed his way to a win over Eddie Hall in a matchup billed as “Beauty vs. the Beast.”

The more experienced Fury stuck to a smart and tactical game plan to earn a majority decision win in a heavyweight exhibition bout that headlined the Fury vs. Hall event in Manchester, England on Saturday. Guest judges Tony Bellew (59-56) and Derek Chisora (58-56) saw the fight in favor of Fury, while Chase DeMoor scored it a draw (57-57).
Afterwards, DeMoor, the Misfits Boxing heavyweight champion, stepped into the ring to face off with Fury, but Fury shot down the suggestion that they could fight next in his post-fight interview. Fury told DeMoor he has to fight Fury’s brother Roman first (DeMoor and Roman were previously scheduled to fight in March 2025 at a Misfits Event that was later cancelled), leading to a scuffle in the ring between DeMoor and Roman.

In contrast, Fury and Hall had nothing but respect for each other after the conclusion of their contest, with Fury praising Hall for his effort despite having little combat sports experience. The two were friends prior to the matchup being made and there was no bad blood after they exchanged punches for six rounds.

From the start, it was clear Fury had no interest in directly engaging the massive Hall, who outweighed Fury by over 100 pounds at Friday’s official weigh-ins. Fury continually moved to his left to stay out of the range of Hall’s gigantic right hand, only venturing forward to throw a jab or land the occasional body shot. To Hall’s credit, he never completely gassed during the bout, likely aided by the fact that the rounds were two minutes in length as opposed to men’s boxing’s standard three.
Hall had his moments, catching Fury with a few good punches, though his right hand never quite hit the mark. On the other side, Fury became more adventurous as Hall slowed, sticking with the body work in the later rounds and landing just enough head shots to stay ahead on the scorecards.
Fury’s next fight is unclear, with DeMoor needing to defeat Roman Fury first before Tommy considers taking him on for the Misfits Boxing heavyweight belt.
