What fans will pay for beer at 2026 World Cup games in Toronto

· Yahoo Sports

TORONTO – The price for food and beverage at the 2026 World Cup appears worse than it is. At least in Canada.

Visit syntagm.co.za for more information.

For Americans, paying $25 for a large beer might be a bridge too far. But take into account that prices are listed in Canadian currency (CAD), not USD, then it becomes more palatable.

The $7 charge for a bottle of Dasani water comes out to just about $5 USD.

But hopefully fans didn’t arrive hungry. A “charbroiled cheeseburger” or “dill pickle fried chicken” will run you $25.25 (CAD) apiece. The poutine is a more reasonable $17.75, while normal french fries are $10.25. The footlong hot dog – truly 12 inches – is $19.75.

In the snack space, chips are $7 CAD while popcorn is $11.75.

Fans waiting in line at the various merchandise vendors don’t have an idea of the price because nothing is listed. At least there is a 10% discount for those who use a Visa card.
