It was clear very early that Paige Bueckers had it working for the Dallas Wings on Thursday night.

The bucket she scored to make it 7-2, quite early in the evening, was a tough dribbling, spinning, fadeaway, pull-up jumper. It was cash, in rhythm, and Bueckers was obviously feeling it.
That kept up the whole night on the way to an 83-70 Wings win over the Phoenix Mercury.
Bueckers ended the night having dropped 31 points to go with six rebounds, five assists and a steal.
Amazingly, Bueckers didn't need a trip to the foul line. She was too busy hooping all over the floor.
Bueckers shot 14-for-20 from the field, including 3-for-5 from 3-point range.

It was a cool night for the WNBA in a lot of regards, highlighted by the fact that Bueckers took to the court directly as Caitlin Clark was wrapped up her third career game with at least 30 points and 10 assists.
Bueckers didn't quite match the full output, but she was much more efficient from the field -- and ironically, on a night Paige didn't shoot one foul shot, Caitlin was 15-for-15 from the line for the Fever in an overtime win over the Sky.
The WNBA is in a great place with young guards like these shining so bright.
And for Bueckers, it's the kind of performance that can propel her to a massive rest of the season, and keep her growing toward an exceptional WNBA career.
