The Louisville Kings will play in the United Football League's championship game, the United Bowl, on Saturday, June 13, against the DC Defenders.
The Kings went 6-4 in their inaugural UFL season, then defeated the St. Louis Battlehawks in the playoff semifinals to get to the title game.

Here are Louisville players to know ahead of the United Bowl.
Chandler Rogers, quarterback
Chandler Rogers has played in 10 of 11 games for the Kings this season. The 6-foot quarterback has completed 62.3% of his passes.
Rogers has thrown for 1,281 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. He's also rushed for two touchdowns.
The quarterback made stops at five different colleges from 2019-2024, ending his career at Cal as a backup to future Heisman Trophy-winner Fernando Mendoza. He went undrafted in 2025.
Rogers' most notable season playing college football came in 2023 at North Texas, when he threw for 3,382 yards and 29 touchdowns.
Ian Wheeler, running back
Ian Wheeler has played in 10 games this season. The 5-foot-10 running back ran for 459 yards and seven touchdowns.
Wheeler played college ball for Howard University, where he was an All-MEAC Second-Team selection. He went undrafted in 2024 but signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.
Wheeler had a strong start to his rookie campaign before tearing his ACL. He was released by the Bears and later signed to the New Orleans Saints' practice squad before being released shortly thereafter.
Isaiah Winstead, wide receiver
Isaiah Winstead has played in nine games for the Kings this season. The 6-foot-3 wide receiver has recorded 540 receiving yards and caught four touchdowns, leading the team in both categories.
Before playing for Louisville, Winstead spent the past two UFL seasons with the Dallas Renegades, where he found 482 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Winstead played for three different colleges from 2017-22. He finished his career at East Carolina before going undrafted in 2023. The wide receiver spent time on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad and was brought in for training camp with the New York Jets.
Cam Gill, edge
Cam Gill has played in all 11 games with Louisville this season. The edge rusher was named an All-UFL selection after recording 10 sacks, 39 total tackles and one forced fumble during the regular season. Gill also recorded six tackles and one sack in the Kings' playoff win.
Gill played for Wagner University from 2016-19. He went undrafted in 2020, then signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and made the team's active roster out of training camp.
He spent three years in Tampa Bay before signing to his first of two stints with the Carolina Panthers. Gill also spent a brief time with the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions before making his UFL debut with the Kings.
Corey Mayfield Jr., defensive back
Corey Mayfield Jr. has played in 10 games for the Kings this season and received an All-UFL selection of his own. The defensive back put up 27 total tackles, four interceptions, seven pass breakups and one forced fumble.
Before joining Louisville's squad, Mayfield Jr. played for the San Antonio Brahmas for two seasons, totaling 50 tackles and one interception.
The 5-foot-10 defensive back played college football at UTSA from 2018-22. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent before being released and joining the UFL.
Tanner Brown, kicker
Tanner Brown was named an All-UFL selection after an accurate season kicking for the Kings.
Brown was 25 for 28 during the regular season, with two of his misses being from 50-59 yards. He made both attempts in the Kings' playoff win, including a personal best from 63 yards.
Brown finished his collegiate career at Oklahoma State in 2023 before spending time in camps with the Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons. After being waived by the Falcons, he joined the Kings for his first UFL season.
James Robinson, running back
James Robinson has played in seven games for the Kings this season. The 5-foot-9 running back rushed for 351 yards and four touchdowns.
Prior to joining the Kings, Robinson played collegiately at Illinois State from 2016-19. He went undrafted in 2020 but signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. Robinson then rushed for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie.
His NFL career was derailed by a torn Achilles suffered late in the 2021 season. Following his injury, Robinson spent time with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints before coming to Louisville.
Lucky Jackson, wide receiver
Lucky Jackson has appeared in all 11 games for the Kings this season, recording 430 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot former Western Kentucky Hilltopper receiver was second on the team in receiving yards.
The Lexington, Kentucky, native spent all four seasons playing college football at WKU.
Jackson went undrafted in 2020, then spent time in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Edmonton Elks. The wideout made his UFL debut with the DC Defenders in 2023 before spending time on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.
Tyler Hudson, wide receiver
Tyler Hudson appeared in nine games with the Kings this season, but recorded just 49 receiving yards.
The 6-foot-2 wide receiver played college football for the Louisville Cardinals. Hudson led the team in receiving yards in 2022 with 1,034 yards and two touchdowns.
Hudson went undrafted in 2023 but spent some time with the Los Angeles Rams.
