Just when we thought ticket prices for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs couldn’t go any higher, they just keep going up and up.
According to TickPick, via Steve Popper of Newsday, the updated get-in price for Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden is now a whopping $7,390.

TickPick notes that the Game 3 get-in price is an astounding 1,148% higher than the get-in price for Game 2 in San Antonio on Friday night, which is $635.
Here’s some more absurd facts to show just how ridiculous that price is:
- The total cost to attend all seven games of the 2025 NBA Finals was $3,254, which is 143% less expensive than the get-in price for Game 3 of this year’s NBA Finals.
- For less than the cost of a Game 3 ticket, a fan could attend every single remaining New York Yankees and Mets game this season, and every New York Giants and Jets game. That’s a total of 120 games for the cost of $4,558.
The word “unbelievable” doesn’t even do it justice.

Don’t expect Spurs fans to invade Madison Square Garden in Game 3.
TickPick reveals that just 1.6% of ticket sales for Game 3 have come from Texas, while 66% are from New York and New Jersey.
Now compare that to Game 2, where 33% of purchases have come from New York and New Jersey while 26% have come from Texas and 11% come from California.
We heard Knicks fans loud and clear in Game 1 and that should continue in Game 2.
Why Game 3 prices are so expensive
Well, for starters, it’s a simple case of supply and demand.
Another reason is the next-level hype surrounding the Knicks during their incredible playoff run.
Lest we forget, NBA Finals appearances for the Knicks are few and far between, with the last one coming in 1999. It has been even longer since the Knicks won their last title in 1973.
And, if you think these prices are high, just wait until you see how much tickets are going to cost if the Knicks have a chance to clinch at Madison Square Garden.
