According to NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, the New York Giants are bringing back the veteran wide receiver, reuniting Beckham with the franchise that drafted him and where he became one of the league's biggest stars. The move also reunites Beckham with Giants head coach John Harbaugh, who coached the veteran receiver during his lone season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023.

The Giants are also signing WR Braxton Berrios to a one-year deal, his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

New York also looked at veteran Juju Smith-Schuster and Anthony Miller in that tryout. The signings come just days after wide receiver and kick returner Gunner Olszewski tore his Achilles tendon during an OTA practice. Wide receivers Malik Nabers (knee) and Darius Slayton (core muscle) are also currently sidelined as they rehab injuries.

Beckham arrived in Baltimore carrying significant questions after multiple injuries had limited his availability. While he was no longer the explosive playmaker who captivated the league early in his career, he still provided value for a Ravens team that earned the AFC's top seed.

During his season in Baltimore, Beckham caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns. His production was modest compared to his peak years, but his veteran leadership and ability to make timely plays proved valuable in a young receiver room featuring Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.

Since leaving Baltimore, Beckham's career has slowed considerably. He appeared in nine games with the Miami Dolphins during the 2024 season before both sides mutually agreed to part ways in December. Beckham finished that stint with just nine catches for 55 yards on 18 targets.

Last spring, Beckham also accepted a six-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.

Now 33 years old, Beckham is looking to revive his career with the organization where he became a household name. The former first-round pick has produced only one 500-yard receiving season since 2020, but the Giants clearly believe he can still contribute. For Harbaugh, the signing brings in a familiar veteran who understands expectations and locker-room dynamics. For Beckham, it represents another opportunity to prove he still belongs in the NFL while returning to the city where his professional football journey began more than a decade ago.
