The Little Rock Trojans are advancing to the NCAA Super Regional for the first time in program history. Little Rock beat No. 9 Southern Miss and Jacksonville State twice on Saturday and then again on Sunday to advance out of the round.
Jacksonville State got a solid four innings from Eli Pillsbury, who gave up four runs. Ultimately, the Gamecocks did not get enough offensive production to be there at the end. No player scored more than one run, and no player had more than two rbi.
