Jonas Vingegaard completed his Grand Tour triple crown with victory in the Giro d’Italia.
The 29-year-old Dane became the first man to win the Giro, Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana since Chris Froome in 2018, and only the eighth rider of all time.

Vingegaard completed the processional final stage in Rome flanked by six of his Visma-Lease a Bike team-mates.
He won five stages to add the Giro title to those from the Tour de France in 2022 and 2023 and the 2025 success in the Vuelta a Espana.
The 131km stage was won by Italian sprinter Jonathan Milan for the Lidl-Trek team.
