Prison guard Linda De Sousa Abreu was a sexually driven vixen who had an OnlyFans page as a side gig.
But then, it all came off the rails when videos of her engaged in hormone-charged hijinks with a convict in a cell destroyed her career and landed her behind bars.
Now, Abreu, 32, has broken her silence to lambaste the British correctional service as the cause of her woes because prisons like HMP Wandsworth where she toiled are “understaffed and hard to manage.”
The married mother of one met personal trainer turned criminal Linton Weirich, 38, while he was serving time for robbery. Weirich later claimed eager beaver Abreu brought in Chinese food for the lags.
But it Weirich who was centred out for some extra “attention.” At the time, Abreu also had a raunchy OnlyFans account.
‘I regret everything I did’
“Everyone’s doing something. I regret everything I did. I’m incredibly embarrassed,” Abreu told the U.K. Sun . “Everything that I was charged for was what I went guilty for, which was an inappropriate relationship with Linton.
“That was my fault and that’s what I went guilty for, and that’s as far as it went. I had sex with someone I shouldn’t have had sex with and I had an appropriate relationship, but I didn’t do anything else.”
Weirich told the newspaper: “I added her on Snapchat and we talked about what she was up to. She was into her gym. Her banter was flirty.
“It was obvious she liked me but I think she also wanted someone to look out for her on the landing. She asked me to sort out an inmate who spat on her, so I did.”
Sex on numerous occassions
Before the twosome filmed their notorious jailhouse romp, they had engaged in sex on numerous occasions. But the object of her affections said he did not want the infamous encounter filmed.
The convict Coppola who filmed the romp, puffing on a joint, was heard to say: “This is how we live at Wandsworth. Gangsters online.”
When the raunchy sex tape became public, Abreu resigned and tried to do a runner.
She pleaded guilty to misconduct in a public office on July 29, 2024, and received 15 months’ jail. The former guard served five months in prison before being released with an ankle bracelet.
“I’ve just been keeping a low-key life,” Abreu said. “I just want to get on with my life. I want to keep being a good mum to my child.”
Since 2021, around 45 female British prison officers have been pinched having sexual encounters with male prisoners.
In February, “infatuated” guard Charlotte Winstanley, 27, was convicted for smuggling contraband material into HMP Lindholme for convict Jabhari Blair, 30, including a forbidden cellphone they used to send “explicit photos and videos.”
Winstanley told Blair of their “substantial sexual relationship”: “I love my job, but I love you more.” Prosecutors said Mondays were “date night.”
One message from Blair indicated that he “can’t wait to give Miss Winstanley a beautiful baby.”
She was convicted and jailed for 30 months for the sex romps with gangbanger Blair, who was caged for 12 years in 2014. The judge described Winstanley’s corruption as the “worst” he had seen.
