The Los Angeles Dodgers’ bullpen has set a new franchise record when it comes to scoreless innings after four shutdown frames from the relievers vs. the Brewers.
The Dodgers relievers have reached a total of 36 straight innings without allowing a run. The previous Dodgers record was 33 innings from back in 1988.

The record is incredibly impressive considering the sheer number of pitchers that are on the injured list.
LA has a ton of starters and relievers on the IL, which would theoretically mean a drop in quality, with starters going less deep into games and the bullpen more prone to runs, but that has not been the case thus far.

Since then, the relivers have been lights out. The pitchers who have contributed to the streak are the following: Alex Vesia, Edgardo Henriquez, Tanner Scott, Jack Dreyer, Blake Treinen, Kyle Hurt, Will Klein, Charlie Barnes, Wyatt Milles, Chayce McDermott, Jonathan Hernandez, and Paul Gervase

Edgardo Hernriquez leads the way with 5.1 innings thrown over that span. Blake Treinen, Kyle Hurt, Tanner Scott, and Alex Vesia are all pitchers who have added more than two innings to the streak.
“We all have the same mindset down there. Your name gets called and you have a job to do and that’s it. Try not to complicate it too much,” Kyle Hurt said about the Dodgers’ bullpen.
The Dodgers had a really bad bullpen in 2025, which cost the team many wins.

The pendulum has now swung back in the relievers’ favor, with the arms keeping the team in games as they figure things out offensively.
For October, dominant pitching is promising, and when it arrives, it can be relied upon in a way that wasn’t possible in 2025.
