BASEBALL

West De Pere 2, Bay Port 1

DE PERE - The Phantoms handed the Pirates their first Fox River Classic Conference loss of the season.

West De Pere scored a run in the third inning, Bay Port scored in the fourth to tie the game, then West De Pere scored the go-ahead run in the sixth inning.

Holden Mulloy and Josh Kelly had two hits for West De Pere. Ethan Collar and Sammy Berg drove in runs.

Nolan Sell pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed four hits, walked one and struck out five.

Eli Hart had two hits for Bay Port. Carson Hawley had a hit and an RBI.

Quinn Broeckman pitched six innings for Bay Port. He allowed five hits, two runs (one earned), walked one and struck out two.

Bay Port falls to 21-3 overall and to 16-1 in the FRCC. The Pirates were attempting to become the third team in FRCC history to have an undefeated conference season.

Manitowoc Lincoln 4, De Pere 3

DE PERE - Cade Grapentine hit a two-run home run to right field in the top of the fifth inning to give the Ships a 3-1 lead in their Fox River Classic Conference win over the Redbirds.

Grapentine finished with two hits and two RBIs. Noah Blaser also had two hits for the Ships.

Ryan Martin, Max Zimmerman and Isaac Herlache each collected two hits for De Pere.

Colton Setzer hit a solo home run for De Pere and had two RBIs.

Bennett Johnson earned the win for Manitowoc. The starting pitcher surrendered eight hits and three runs over 6⅔ innings, striking out four and walking one.

Kasen Gregoire took the loss for De Pere. He went 6⅔ innings, allowing four runs on five hits, striking out three and walking two.

Green Bay Preble 7, Notre Dame Academy 3

GREEN BAY - The Hornets scored five runs in the third inning and two in the fourth inning in the Fox River Classic Conference win over the Tritons.

Carlos Prado had two hits, including a double, and drove in a run for Preble. Will VanBoxel added a double and two RBIs.

VanBoxel pitched five innings for the win. He allowed four hits, three runs (one earned), walked five and struck out three. Jackson Zegers pitched two scoreless innings. He allowed two hits, walked one and struck out two.

Tripp Wroblewski had two hits, including a double, for Notre Dame.

Pulaski 12, Green Bay Southwest 2

PULASKI - The Red Raiders scored five runs in the first inning and six in the second inning in the five-inning victory over the Trojans.

Mason Heintz had two hits and an RBI for Pulaski. Brayden Wiedeman had a double and three RBIs, while Ben Marsh and Braun Wotruba each drove in two runs.

Pulaski had five pitchers each throw one inning, limiting Southwest to five hits.

Sheboygan North 3, Ashwaubenon 0

ASHWAUBENON - Brett Rybarczyk pitched 6⅔ innings to power the Golden Raiders to the Fox River Classic Conference win over the Jaguars.

Rybarczyk allowed five hits, walked one and struck out 11. Tristan Hundt recorded the final out via strikeout.

Hundt had two hits, including a triple, and drove in a run for Sheboygan North.

Seymour 5, Denmark 3

DENMARK - The Thunder scored three runs in the second inning and two in the sixth inning in the nonconference win over the Vikings.

Caden Steffens had three hits, including a double, and drove in one run for Seymour.

Brayden Banker pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed five hits, three runs (one earned), walked one and struck out five.

Ozzie Enz had two hits for Denmark.

Cade Delarwelle pitched six innings for the Vikings. He allowed nine hits, five runs (all unearned), walked two and struck out two.

Xavier 19, Green Bay East 3

GREEN BAY - The Hawks scored four runs in the third inning, four in the fifth and seven in the sixth in the victory over the Red Devils.

Douglas Yates had a triple and an RBI for Green Bay East.

Oconto 3, Oconto Falls 1

OCONTO - The Blue Devils scored a run in the fourth inning to take a 2-1 lead and added a run in the fifth inning in the nonconference win over the Panthers.

Jameson Lassanke, Davis Knoll and Roman Cantu each had a hit and an RBI for Oconto.

Oconto Falls was led by Landon Timm, who had two hits. Logan Berg had a hit and an RBI.

Knoll pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed three hits, walked three and struck out seven.

Wabeno/Laona 7, Niagara 1

LAONA - The Rebels scored four runs in the first inning and finished with 10 hits in the nonconference win over the Badgers.

Remington Buchanan had two hits and an RBI for Niagara. Wyatt Dunkes also had two hits, including a double.

SOFTBALL

Watertown 9, Green Bay Preble 8

OSHKOSH - The Goslings had 14 hits and the Hornets banged 13 hits in the nonconference matchup.

Cali Craig had three hits and two RBIs for Watertown. Lexi Lambert also had three hits, while Ava Novotny had two RBIs.

Denmark 10, De Pere 6

DENMARK - The Vikings scored four runs in the first inning and two in the second to lead 6-1 and went on to the nonconference win over the Redbirds.

Vanny Umentum had three hits, including two doubles, and drove in five runs for Denmark. Maggie Frank had two hits and an RBI, Shaelyn Kraschnewski had three hits, and Rebekah Dittmer drove in three runs.

De Pere was led by Jaelyn Craig, who had three hits including a double, a triple, and drove in two runs. Bella Robinett added two hits and Allie Frederiksen drove in two runs.

GIRLS SOCCER

Kimberly 6, West De Pere 0

KIMBERLY - Vada Sousek scored twice for the Papermakers in the nonconference victory over the Phantoms.

Katie Owens, Emily Urban, Ashlyn Krueger and Lauren Warner also scored for Kimberly.

Owens added two assists. Krueger, Sadie Strong and Maya Bies also had assists.

Bee Brockert and Naomi Sotomayor shared time in goal for Kimberly and neither made a save.
