Everton have long been admirers of Newcastle United’s William Osula, according to The i Paper.

The Toffees need to add a lethal striker to the ranks and have eyes on Osula, who has the best goals per minute ratio in the Premier League (a goal every 106 minutes).
Everton signed Thierno Barry last summer, but he has failed to live up to expectations at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Beto has also been equally disappointing for the Merseyside outfit, and there are rumours he could exit the club this summer.
Everton boss David Moyes could use another striker in the ranks, and Osula fits the bill.
However, Everton are not alone in the race for his signature, with Aston Villa and other Bundesliga outfits also interested in his services.
Per the report, it will take any interested parties at least double the £30 million Newcastle paid to bring them to the table.
Osula would be a coup for Everton
Osula would be a fantastic capture for Everton if they can get a deal over the line.
The 22-year-old scored a brace to all but relegate West Ham United over the weekend, taking his tally to nine goals in 34 appearances.
At the moment, Moyes does not possess a striker with the Dane’s explosiveness, movement, or instinctive finishing ability.
He is quicker, sharper, and far more clinical than the options currently available to the Everton gaffer.
Of course, there are still areas of his game that need polishing. Osula is not the traditional battering ram centre-forward Moyes has often preferred.
He does not dominate aerially in the same way Beto can, nor is he the biggest physical presence inside the box.
But what he does offer Everton is unpredictability, aggression in transition, and the ability to terrorise defenders when attacking space.
His ceiling remains extremely high. He has shown flashes of a devastating forward capable of deciding games on his own.
Under Moyes’ guidance, Osula could smooth out the rougher edges of his game and mature into a complete Premier League striker for the Toffees.
