The Los Angeles Dodgers pitching corps has been ravaged by injuries in recent weeks, but despite the challenges, the bullpen remains a strength.

As detailed by the team’s daily notes ahead of Tuesday’s matchup with the San Diego Padres, no Dodgers reliever has given up a run in six straight games.
“The Dodger bullpen has not given up a run in six consecutive games and currently has an 18.0-inning scoreless streak going,” the team said.

After Hurt’s performance, the bullpen’s collective ERA stands at 3.24, second in the National League.
Dodgers bullpen has performed even better without star closer
Interestingly, the Dodgers bullpen has been the best in Major League Baseball since losing star closer Edwin Diaz to injury.
Since Diaz’s most recent outing on April 19, the bullpen has an ERA of 2.68, the best in baseball in that span.

Since April 19, he’s pitched 12 straight scoreless innings with 13 strikeouts against five hits and two walks.
That kind of performance is much needed, considering the other injuries to the pitching corps.
Dodgers’ pitching corps ravaged by multiple injuries
Starting pitchers Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow are both hurt, leading the Dodgers to sign lefty Eric Lauer, a key contributor on last season’s Toronto Blue Jays, after he was DFA’d by the Jays last week.

Lauer, 30, has struggled so far this season with a 6.69 ERA in 36.1 innings pitched.
With Lauer joining the Dodgers, the team moved reliever Brusdar Graterol to the 60-day IL.
Graterol recently sustained a setback in his return from injury as his back flared up.
Also injured is reliever Jack Dreyer, who experienced left-shoulder discomfort.
Do you think the Dodgers pitching corps can continue to perform well despite all the injuries?
