The Libertyville H.S. (Libertyville, IL) product is a four-star recruit according to both Rivals and 247Sports, and is a top-100 player in the 2027 cycle in the 247Sports Composite and Rivals Industry rankings. Williams finished his junior season with 44 catches for 596 yards and 11 receiving touchdowns, along with a pair of return touchdowns on special teams.

According to Andrew Ivins of 247Sports, Williams "already has a full route inventory" and projects as a threat at all three levels of offense (short, intermediate, deep) with his "burst, agility, and awareness." The scouting report also highlighted Williams' versatility, noting that he has been utilized in a variety of roles, including out wide, in the slot, and out of the backfield. Ivins also praised Williams' body control and effectiveness as a red-zone target.

The Longhorns now stand at 11 total commitments in this cycle, with Williams joining five-star WR Easton Royal, four-star RB Noah Roberts, and three-star TE JT Geraci as offensive playmakers for head coach Steve Sarkisian. With summer official visits on the horizon, Texas will aim to maintain their momentum on the recruiting trail heading into the fall.
