Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders posted 192 for four in the rain-delayed clash after Angkrish Raghuvanshi produced a career-best 71 off 46 balls with seven fours and three sixes. The youngster rebuilt the innings after early wickets and stitched together important partnerships with Cameron Green (32) and Rinku Singh, who remained unbeaten on 49 off 29 balls.
RCB had struck early through Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood after Finn Allen and Ajinkya Rahane threatened a quick start. However, Raghuvanshi’s aggressive strokeplay and Rinku’s late flourish helped KKR reach a competitive total.
