State champions from track and state medalists from boys weightlifting dominate the final Tremendous 10 poll of the season, including the best performance ever by a Polk County athlete in the 100-meter dash. As the week ended, the only spring athletes still playing are baseball players from Lakeland Christian and softball players from Bartow, Lake Wales, McKeel and Lakeland Christian.
In last week's poll, Bartow softball pitcher Ryleigh Knowlton won with 53 percent of the vote. Lakeland sprinter DJ Dobie, who heads this week's list after his record-breaking performance, finished second with 38.6 percent of the vote.

This week's poll, presented by Central Florida Behavioral Health, will be open until noon on Thursday.
1 Lakeland senior DJ Dobie (boys track and field) ran 10:24 and blew away the field en route to winning the 100-yard dash at the Class 4A state meet. His time also set a county record.
2 Winter Haven senior Olivia Celiscar (girls track and field), who already is the county record-holder in the event, won the discus with a throw of 41-09.25 to win the state title for the second consecutive year.
3 Victory Christian junior Andrew Morrison (boys track and field) ran 14.01 to win the 110 hurdles at the Class 1A state meet.
4 Auburndale senior Trey Sullivan (boys weightlifting) was the top Polk County lifter at the state meet among all classifications. He finished second in both Traditional (685 pounds) and Olympic (560 pounds) in the Unlimited weight class at the Class 2A state meet.

The Ledger's Tremendous 10 Poll5 Winter Haven senior Peyton Bowers (boys weightlifting) finished third in Olympic in the 119-pound weight class at the Class 3A state meet.
6 Ridge Community senior Lavonski Tubbs (boys weightlifting) had a total lift of 680 pounds to finish third in the 238-pound weight class in Olympic at the Class 3A state meet.
7 Auburndale senior Jayden Mondesir (boys weightlifting) finished third in the 238-pound weight class in Olympic with a total lift of 580 pounds. He also took fourth in Traditionals (675).
8 Lake Wales junior Jerezey Lighten (boys weightlifting) finished third in Olympic in the 238-pound weight class with a total lift of 555 pounds.
9 Lakeland Christian senior Maclain Irby (baseball) batted .571 (4-for -7) two RBIs and two runs scored in the three-games series against Orlando First Academy in the Class 2A, Region 2 finals. More importantly, he allowed just one run in 3 2/3 innings of relief to pick pick up the series-clinching win.
10 Lake Wales senior Keira Davis (softball) went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored in the regional quarterfinals. For the season, she is batting .486 with 19 extra-base hits, including 11 doubles, 35 RBIs and 35 runs scored.
