The school did not release additional details on the shooting.
Hardy, 20, is coming off a fantastic season with Missouri. As a sophomore, he rushed for a conference-high 1,649 yards. He also scored 16 rushing touchdowns. It was Hardy’s first season at Missouri.
Prior to that, Hardy starred with Louisiana-Monroe as a freshman. In his one season with the team, Hardy rushed for 1,351 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. Both figures led the Sun Belt that season. That performance was strong enough to make Hardy an All-American entering his first season with Missouri.
