The signing was months in the making for Woods (6-1, 204 pounds), who originally worked out for the team last September. Following a second tryout, he'll now get an opportunity to fight for a roster spot this summer. The 26-year-old receiver originally entered the league as a sixth-round pick out of Oklahoma with the Cleveland Browns in 2022.

Woods totaled 12 receptions for 110 yards in 15 career games with the Browns, including three catches for 43 yards against Denver in 2024. Following three years in Cleveland, Woods spent part of the 2025 season on the Green Bay Packers' practice squad. He will now join his third NFL team.

The Broncos had 60 players at their rookie minicamp, including 33 rookie tryout players and four veteran tryout players. After signing Woods, Denver will need to make a corresponding move to create a spot for him on the roster, so at least one more move is on the way later today.
