The Arizona Cardinals had their final on-field work of rookie minicamp on Saturday. The 16 rookies who participated had a treat. They were visited by a Cardinals legend.
Larry Fitzgerald, who will be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August, made an appearance and met the rookies.

As can be seen in two of the photos from the Cardinals' social media post on X, he had some sort of message for the rookies.
AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban noted that Fitzgerald gave running back Jeremiyah Love, the Cardinals' top pick in te 2026 NFL draft last month, a hug. Whether it was because Fitzgerald was recognizing the expectations Love carries or because he played for Notre Dame, where Fitzgerald's son will play in the fall, it is a good thing to hear about.
Could Fitzgerald begin to have a bit of a role with the organization now, or was this a one-time cameo? We will find out.
