Rachel is half Nigerian and half Dutch. Her father David is Nigerian and her mom, Elske is Dutch. She spends a lot of her time between Amsterdam and South Africa.

Siya Kolisi was married to Rachel Kolisi for eight years before their split, announced in October 2024. The pair have two beautiful children together, Keziah (9) and Nicholas (11). Siya has been rumoured to be dating Rachel John since late 2025.
