Kohler was an All-Big Ten honorable mention this past season, averaging a career-high 12.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 38.9% from 3-point range. He ranked 19th in the country in defensive rebounds (211) and second in the conference in total rebounds (312).
The 6-foot-8 forward wasn't among the 44 prospects on the initial invitation list for the G League combine unveiled on Saturday. He will now have the opportunity to compete in 5-on-5 games, strength and agility testing, shooting drills, measurements and other related on-court exercises.

Kohler was tied for the second most double-doubles (12) among all players in the Big Ten last season. He was also one of five Division I players to average at least 12.5 points and eight rebounds while knocking down 50 or more 3-pointers (58).
The 22-year-old had the opportunity to compete last month in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, an annual event for the top seniors in the country. He averaged 9.3 points and 8.7 rebounds on 40.7% shooting from the field in three scrimmage appearances.
The top performers in the G League combine will be invited to the draft combine, taking place May 10-17 at the Wintrust Arena and Marriott Marquis. Last year, Yanic Konan Niederhäuser and Ryan Nembhard were among those who advanced to the draft combine.
