‘FAKE NEWS IS UPON US’
It’s not the first time Fikile Mbalula has rubbished fake news on social media.
In February, the ANC stalwart posted screenshots of a fake profile using his identity to scam the public.
He tweeted: “The era of fake news and accounts is upon us and we must always remain vigilant”.

He’s also rubbished Photoshopped posts allegeing he has made controversial comments.
As previously stated the leadership of the ANC has stated that there must be no debate on any leadership contestation with regards to the 2027 ANC Congress. These accounts that are mushrooming are fake and we must distance ourselves from them. I’ve reported them. Such issues… pic.twitter.com/N5K8scVAOn
