A third member from Clemson football's 2025 defensive line was selected on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Former Tigers defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart was taken 155th overall in the fifth round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday.
Capehart spent parts of six seasons with the Tigers and committed to Clemson back in 2018. His true freshman campaign was in the 2020 pandemic season, which saw Capehart play in four games and register three tackles (2.0 TFL) and a sack.

Capehart made six starts for Clemson in 2025, recording 20 tackles (12 solo) and one sack. He played in 57 career games and made 12 starts between 2020-25. He was credited with 88 tackles (13.5 TFL), 3.0 sacks, five pass breakups and a forced fumble while at Clemson.
Capehart is the eighth overall Clemson player selected in the 2026 NFL draft. Offensive tackle Blake Miller was drafted 17th overall in the first round by the Detroit Lions on Thursday. Defensive tackle Peter Woods joined Miller among Day 1 picks when the Kansas City Chiefs picked him 29th overall.
Defensive lineman T.J. Parker was selected by the Buffalo Bills early in the second round with the 35th overall pick, and cornerback Avieon Terrell was drafted 48th overall by the Atlanta Falcons. Receiver Antonio Williams was drafted by the Washington Commanders with the 71st overall pick in the third round on Friday, as well.
Earlier Saturday, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik was selected 110th overall by the New York Jets in the fourth round. Later in the fourth round, the Houston Texas nabbed linebacker Wade Woodaz with the 123rd overall pick.
