Hey Detroit Red Wings fans. Remember how fed up you were with the oversaturation of gambling information populating Red Wings contests. You were overjoyed by the demise of the FanDuel Sports Network.

That would be the end of conversations about betting during broadcasts. You’ll never again hear about whether to bet on a Dylan Larkin goal as part of a same-game parlay.

Guess again, folks.

Friday, the Red Wings bet on a new sports betting partner.

British-owned sports betting site Bet365 signed on as sponsor of the Red Wings, Tigers, and 313 Presents. The latter group is the live entertainment joint venture by Tigers and Red Wings owner Ilitch Sports and Entertainment and Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores. Bet365 will serve as the presenting sponsor on Wings and Detroit Tigers MLB broadcasts. This will be on the new Detroit SportsNet streaming service.

Bet365 Sponsoring Red Wings And Tigers

As part of Bet365’s sponsorship of the Wings and Tigers, the betting company is receiving in-stadium and virtual signage. There will be odds integrations as the presenting sponsor of the broadcasts on Detroit SportsNet. Bet365 also gets promotion on team radio and digital channels.

“We’re excited to bring Bet365 to Michigan and introduce a better way to bet,” read a statement issued by Bet365. “This is a mature market with knowledgeable fans, and we’re confident our product stands apart.

“Bet365 is focused on rooting itself within Michigan’s iconic sports and entertainment community. Our partnership with the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and 313 Presents pursues our goal of creating meaningful connections with fans and enhancing the way they engage with their favorite experiences.”

Friday also saw the official launch of Bet365 as Michigan’s 17th legal and regulated online sportsbook and casino.

“The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has approved the launch of Hillside Michigan LLC, doing business as Bet365, as the new internet gaming and internet sports betting platform provider for the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, operator of the Odawa Casino in Petoskey,” the MGCB announced in a statement. “Bet365 replaces PokerStars, which recently exited the Michigan market.”
