The 40-year-old keeper is still putting up elite performances in the biggest matches, and more than that, he is just plain entertaining. That sets him apart, as former Bayern and German men’s national team teammate Toni Kroos explained on his podcast, Einfach mal Luppen.
“For me it’s a fact that Manu is the best of all-time. He’s the only goalkeeper who’s fun to watch,” Kroos said in comments captured by @iMiaSanMia. “What he’s doing looks so good. He still has his own unique style of goalkeeping. Only he has that. He still has an incredible aura — with his movements, his elegance.”
Here’s to at least a few more weeks of Neuer flaunting all his trademark Neuer moves.
