New Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese is happy to be a part of the franchise.
On Tuesday, April 7, Reese was in New York to promote a new Victoria's Secret campaign when she was asked about joining her new team. The Atlanta forward gave a perfect response to the question and included perfect puns about her new destination.

"Yes, Atlanta Dream, what's up? I really dreamed of this moment. I'm just living in my Barbie Dreamhouse. I'm just having so much fun," Reese said. "Life is good. Life is great. I'm excited for this new journey and this new city and more to come."

On Monday, April 6, the Chicago Sky traded Reese to Atlanta for a bevy of picks, ending the forward's time in the Windy City after two seasons. "This trade is designed to achieve roster balance and represents a great opportunity for all parties," Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said in a statement.
Reese, who reportedly did not request the trade, posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Chicago and its fans. "To the city of Chicago, you showed me real love from day one," Reese said. "Thank you, Chicago. Always Chi-Town Barbie."
The Dream star will now turn her sights to preparation for the 2026 season, which begins on Friday, May 8. Reese will also return to Chicago on Wednesday, April 29, for a Dream-Sky preseason matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET.
