A prospect that could attract the Jets is Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. His dynamic ability helped Indiana win the National Championship last season, and he could help Garrett Wilson at wideout on the Jets offense moving forward. In 16 games played last year, Cooper had 69 catches, 937 yards and 13 touchdowns.

However, Essential Sports NFL draft insider Tony Pauline has reported Cooper is currently only enticing the Jets with one of those three top-44 selections: At No. 33 overall.

According to the report, if Cooper remains on the board all the way until the start of Round 2, then the Jets might pounce:

Considering mock drafts have Cooper being picked all over the first round, the report might be indicating Cooper is unlikely to end up in New York when the first day of the draft is all said and done. Time will tell.
