The Tennessee Titans had an abysmal 2025 season, but that doesn't mean things aren't looking up now.

The team brought in Robert Saleh to be the new head coach, unveiled an awesome new logo and uniforms, made some solid signings in free agency, and hold the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
There are still plenty of holes on the roster, so there are several directions the team could go with that top pick. It's possible the team could add another talented edge rusher or defensive back, or they could perhaps add another weapon for young quarterback Cam Ward.
NFL.com's Eric Edholm published a new mock draft on Thursday and in that draft, Edholm has the Titans selecting Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.
Love is the top running back in the 2026 class and could immediately transform the Titans' offense. The Titans do still have Tony Pollard, who rushed for 1,000 yards in 2025, but Pollard is set to be a free agent after 2026.
Regarding Love and the Titans, Edholm offered the following:
With the Titans having refrained from adding a back in free agency, I could see Love being their pick here. Tony Pollard was solid last season, especially late, but Love is a different caliber of playmaker to pair with Cam Ward.
As Edholm mentioned, the Titans haven't added a running back in free agency, so this may point to Love being the pick.
No disrespect to Pollard, but Love is an entirely different caliber of playmaker. Love rushed for over 1,000 yards in both 2024 and 2025 and also caught 63 passes for 594 yards in his career.
In Nashville, Love would immediately be the primary running back and would also be a valuable receiving threat for Ward. Pollard could still be utilized as a short-yardage back, or perhaps the team could find a trade partner.
The Titans also still have Tyjae Spears on the roster. Spears has been a solid change of pace back in his career and could form a nice duo with Love.
The Titans have a long history of star running backs, from Eddie George, to Chris Johnson, to Derrick Henry. It just seems fitting that Love would be the next in that legendary line.
