Chicken and peanut butter ice cream

I have full faith in two things: the unwavering dependability of dogs and the timeless joy of ice cream; both have been steadfast companions all my life. Given my profound love for both, I’ve devised a safe ice cream recipe for our beloved pooches, completely free of sugar, xylitol and any harmful additives.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yoghurt (or hung curd)

  • 1 cup peanut butter

  • 1/3 cup boiled chicken or keema turned into paste

Method

  1. Put the yoghurt and peanut butter in a blender and blitz till combined.

  2. Place the chicken paste in a bowl, add the yoghurt mixture and mix well.

  3. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for making the ice cream. Alternatively, you can pour the mixture into an ice cream tub or moulds of your choice and freeze it.

  4. Store in the freezer for up to a month.
