The Denver Broncos made a big move at wide receiver on Tuesday and that could lead to the team turning around and trading one of its young wideouts.

According to several reports, the Broncos acquired wide receiver Jaylen Waddle in a blockbuster deal with the Miami Dolphins that included three picks going to Miami.

Now, the belief is that the Broncos could turn around and trade one of their slew of young wideouts, a list that includes Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant and Marvin Mims Jr.

"The Broncos now have Jaylen Waddle, Marvin Mims, and Troy Franklin," ESPN's Benjamin Solak surmised. "With Courtland Sutton and Pat Bryant in hand, gotta imagine they'll hear trade calls on Mims and Franklin."

Three teams that could give the Broncos a call are the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders, all of whom need more help at the position.

The Steelers finally landed a strong No. 2 receiver in Michael Pittman Jr., who will flank DK Metcalf. But the need for more depth remains with the jury still out on Roman Wilson and the rest of the guys they have at wide receiver.

In New York, the Giants lost Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency to the Tennessee Titans, and while the addition of Darnell Mooney is a decent one, a trio of Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton and Mooney still isn't great.

As for the Raiders, there are nothing but question marks up and down their depth chart. Jalen Nailor was the Raiders' biggest addition at wide receiver in 2026, but Nailor is hardly proven after playing behind Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson during his time with the Minnesota Vikings.

Other wide receivers in the room include fellow unproven wideouts, 2025 draft picks Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton, and Tre Tucker, who is really a No. 3 receiver, at best.

Given the fact that guys like Mims, Bryant and Franklin are all depth pieces and the Raiders and Giants already have those, we'd suspect the Steelers are more likely to strike a deal with the Broncos.
