The Nevada product carries an $8.6 million cap hit in 2026. The Patriots invested much in Doubs after releasing Stefon Diggs, their leading wide receiver in 2025, on March 11.
Based on the 2025 NFL season, Doubs is now the Patriots’ highest-volume wide receiver on the roster. Kayshon Boutte recorded 551 yards in 2025, followed by Mack Hollins with 550.
