Bobby McMann's Seattle Kraken debut came on the road at the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night.
Despite that, the former Toronto Maple Leafs winger, recently traded to Seattle, looked right at home in a Kraken jersey.
McMann put up two goals and an assist in his debut, a 5-2 win over the Canucks.
He'd been acquired for multiple draft picks by the Kraken on March 6, just before the NHL trade deadline, and after a slight delay, he showed what he could do for Seattle.
McMann, 29, scored late in the first period and then early in the third.
The cost return to the Maple Leafs for the soon-to-be free agent was a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick.

Despite being on the road, McMann actually had some favorable fan support.
According to the Canadian Press, multiple "Let's go Kraken" chants were started by fans throughout the game in Vancouver.
The reason McMann hadn't played yet had to do with visa issues, not an injury.
Clearly, the Kraken are glad they cleared everything up. McMann made an instant impact on the ice.
This doesn't change the reality of the Leafs trading him. They did well to get something in return for him rather than losing him for nothing in free agency.
Still, it probably stings a bit to see him immediately impact the game like this so soon after departing Toronto.
