The Washington Commanders are planning to go all in for a Pro Bowl offensive lineman in NFL free agency.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Commanders will heavily pursue Baltimore Ravens free agent center Tyler Linderbaum. Washington recently released starting center Tyler Biasdez, who found a new home quickly with the Los Angeles Chargers.

"Should he not re-sign with the Ravens, there is a belief among teams that the Commanders will heavily pursue C Tyler Linderbaum in free agency, per multiple sources," Schultz said.

Linderbaum is set to hit free agency as one of the top players on the market. The three-time Pro Bowler has started 66 games over four years with the Ravens, but could price himself out of Baltimore, as Linderbaum is expected to land a deal worth over $20 million annually.

Washington's potential pursuit of Linderbaum is a horrible development for the Ravens, obviously, but also for the New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders.

New York should look for an upgrade over John Michael Schmitz Jr. at center, and Linderbaum would make sense as a target, especially due to his connection with new head coach John Harbaugh.

However, the Giants are slated to enter free agency with just $14 million in cap space, and with the Commanders at $87 million, Washington has the resources to offer Linderbaum a much more lucrative deal.

The Raiders could be serious competition to the Commanders for Linderbaum. Las Vegas is projected to have the most cap space in the league at $121 million, and have a need at center with Jordan Meredith hitting the market.

We'll see who ends up winning the Linderbaum sweepstakes, but with Washington now entering the race, the market for the star center is only rising.
