Scott has played a critical role this season as the Tide’s second option on offense behind Timmons. Both Scott and Timmons were underwhelming against the Longhorns, as Scott recorded just three total points throughout the matchup.
Scott’s performance played a massive role in the Tide’s loss, as the talented senior will look to bounce back during the NCAA Tournament later this month.
Alabama as team shot an underwhelming 40% from field
The Tide were unable to get hot on the offensive end of the floor at any point in the matchup against Texas. Alabama shot 40% from the field in the loss, as the Tide struggled immensely on the offensive end of the floor throughout the entire contest.
Alabama had an elite offensive performance against Tennessee, as the Tide have officially been eliminated from the SEC Tournament following the loss to Texas.
Alabama will undoubtedly hear their name called on Selection Sunday next weekend, as the Tide will look to make a run throughout the NCAA Tournament later this month.
