The offseason is almost in full swing, and while good teams like the Los Angeles Rams go all-in on things, for better or worse, the Arizona Cardinals are… Well they may or may not get to things.

Today, Jonathan Jones of CBS reported the team could be willing to part with incumbent starter Jacoby Brissett for a day three pick.
The Cardinals could be willing to part with Jacoby Brissett if the team can get a decent Day 3 pick in return, per @jjones9.

Arizona could be in the market for Malik Willis, but league sources are pointing to Jimmy Garoppolo as well. pic.twitter.com/6w5lTnZ4IT
This would make sense. Getting anything for Brissett, who was 1-11 last year after 1-4 the year before, would be a good move. While some see him as a fine bridge player, at the end of the day, you have to win games, and no one has been worse over the last 17 starts in the league than Brissett at that. So, why not get something for a player who doesn’t seem to be in the long-term plans?
Moving off Brissett and Kyler Murray would mean that the team will have an entirely new quarterback room in 2026, which could be a good move, if they get things right in free agency and/or the draft.
Of course, a quarterback battle of Jacoby Brissett and Jimmy Garoppolo a decade after the New England Patriots did it would actually be quite hilarious to see, so why not have some fun too?
