Raiders officially name Klint Kubiak as head coach

· Yahoo Sports

This time yesterday, Klint Kubiak was in the middle coaching the Seattle Seahawks offense against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. Now he's officially the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The team announced the move Monday, finally getting their guy officially after weeks of pursuing him and over a week since he sat down for his in-person interview with the team.

The 38-year-old guided new QB Sam Darnold and the Seahawks to the top seed in the NFC and all the way to a Super Bowl title, defeating the Patriots 29-13.

Afterward, Kubiak didn't dance around the elephant in the room, making it known that he was "fired up" about becoming the next head coach in Las Vegas.

Now it's official, making him the Raiders next head coach and hopefully their long term answer at the position.
